Big Willie Dying

am sad to announce that Big Willie Robinson, King of the Street Racers, has been transferred to hospice care following a double amputation of his legs. The doctors are giving him 3-4 weeks to live. He can have visitors right now, but that may change.

Calif Dragway Closed

A Superior Court has suspended operation of the Auto Club Dragway.  The suspension results from a successful challenge of a San Bernardino County sound standard by a group of concerned residents.  San Bernardino County officials had approved an amendment to the County Sound Standard in 2010 to accommodate louder sound arising from races at the Dragway.  The Superior Court found that the underlying Environmental Impact…

Hey Matthew, got that hot start problem fixed, I put a 1/0 cable from the battery ground to the engine block with real good attatching hardware. The volts at the starter jumped to nearly 12 from barely 8. Talked with a Ron Francis Wireing rep and he told me that having the ground attatched to the frame is the norm, but in instances like this, its best to use the engine block for that components ground, to get max battery voltage, with a large cable is the best...... works for me !
