Desert Thunder Car and Motorcycle Show at Buffalo Bills Casino, State Line Nevada

I know its early, but this year I have asked to help out with the car show portion of the Desert Thunder Show at State Line Primm in October. Last years show was a blast, there were tons of bikes but only 7 cars. I am hoping to at least double that this year. Please Save the Date !! You can check out the website at www.desertthunder.org and look at pictures from earlier years. I will pass out fliers at Farmer Bros when the Thursday shows start.

- 1969 Chevelle, 2003 H2 Hummer, GMC Yukon. The Yukon gets 12, the Hummer gets 10 and the Chevelle gets 4MPG. I apologize but I guess I am responsible for global warming on my own.

- I like taking my Chevelle to cruise nignt at Farmer Boys. I like talking with people who had a car like mine when they were younger and the memories that they have of that car. I have a lot of chevelle memories that have been with me my whole life. My 69 is my favorite.

Desert Thunder 2011

There has been a little confusion about who is doing what at this years Desert Thunder Motorcycle and Car show but I hope some of that is getting ironed out. One vendor, "Mothers" was showing interest but wanted to know how many cars are going to show up. I am really trying to put at least 40-50 cars at this years event. All proceeds go to San Bernardino County charities. Local charities that get little or no help on a larger level. I will be getting flyers and handing them out at the Thursday… Continue
